Take a break from the everyday and sink your hands into clay at Sunken Studio’s Clay Social, bring a friend or enjoy some time just for yourself. You’re invited to relax, explore, and create at your own pace using handbuilding techniques at our specialist studio. Shape a small creature, craft a miniature building, or simply enjoying the tactile rhythm of working with clay, this session offers a welcoming, pressure-free environment to experiment and make something truly your own. 

Content:

With no set instruction or fixed outcomes, you’re free to let your imagination flow. Pinch, carve, and shape clay into whatever inspires you. There’s no formal tutoring, just plenty of time to unwind, and discover the joy of making. 

Prerequisites: none

Duration: 2.5 hours

Includes: 300g stoneware clay. Additional clay is available for £2.50 per puck (approx. 300g). Firing and glazing can be added for £10-£20 per piece, fired work will be ready to collect in 4-6 weeks.  Clean aprons, tools, and all equipment are provided.
