It’s hotting up in here…

Whoop! The news we’ve all been waiting for! Our heaters have been upgraded. The team at Darli Developments have raced to get these installed before Winter. We still have testing and rearranging to do to zone the pottery into toasty potting areas but we’re ready to get stuck in to 2022. This was a much needed investment - it’s a big space to heat but we need warm hands to work, and warm bodies to concentrate. Infrared is more effective than a convection system: it’s instant, and the panels are much quieter than the gas blower (aka jumbo jet) in the corner. We still recommend layering-up when visiting to the studio - there are still areas that are not heated, and we always favour a wooly jumper and some thermals to keep operating costs sustainable.
