Our Team: Introducing Milly Recci

Meet Milly Recci. Milly joined Sunken Studio in October 2021, through The Department of Work and Pensions’ Kickstart Scheme. The Kickstart Scheme provides funding to employers to create jobs for 16 to 24 year olds.

Milly recently completed a Fine Art degree at Leeds Art University. During the final year of her degree she spent the majority of her time in the ceramics room, mainly focusing on slip casting methods. She is currently trying to teach herself how to make traditional pots and plans to use her time at Sunken Studio to learn more about processes and materials - particularly glazes.

Milly likes to keep busy and quickly assumed responsibility for orders and collections at the studio.
