On Friday, 28 March, we’re celebrating Take on Plates, a pop-up exhibition showcasing work made at Sunken Studio. This event is an opportunity to see our members’ work, hear about their motivations and inspirations, and learn about their experiences getting started in ceramics.

With a diverse range of voices involved, Take on Plates is a celebration of new makers and the shared community that makes Sunken Studio a vibrant and supportive space. It’s also an invitation to explore the creative process - how ideas develop, how materials shape decisions, and how craft evolves over time.

This exhibition is part of a wider programme of events designed to encourage conversation and exploration in ceramics.
