The Picture House Winter Fundraiser

The Hyde Park Picture House redevelopment project is now underway. To help raise the final funds required to deliver upcoming conservation work they have just launched The Picture House Winter Fundraiser. It provides an opportunity to sponsor parts of this grade II listed cinema in the Hyde Park Area of Leeds.

They have commissioned several limited edition rewards and we’re collaborating on one of them!

We’re making a limited-edition decorative tile. These handmade tiles are inspired by the Picture House’s Marmo faience, both in terms of their look and feel. They also feature part of the letter H, taken from the ‘Hyde Park’ lettering above our main entrance.

Each tile can be used in a variety of ways – including as a large coaster, a base for a plant pot, or on display as a decorative item. So far we’ve produced a number of prototypes - the final product may vary slightly as we tweak the process to replicate the Marmo faience as best as we can.
