Hello Rebecca

I just wanted to thank you for the pottery session you gave to us on 21 October, we really enjoyed it.

Tracey, 2018

I just wanted to say that I had such a good time on your taster course a few weeks ago.

I felt like you took the class at a really good pace and were brilliant at explaining what we were doing and making sure everything was understood by everyone.
Can’t wait to see the results of our labours!

Howie, 2018

I just wanted to follow up the taster session I had with my friend Jade with you last Saturday. We had so much fun and have been telling people about it all week! I think the effort you’re putting into encouraging people to get back into using their hands is really great and your passion for it really shines through. I know it won’t be for a while yet, but please let us know when you get the new studio space sorted, we’d love to come back and perfect our technique.

Have a good weekend!

Sophie, 2018

My girlfriend Sophie and her friend Jade did their pottery experience with you on Saturday – just wanted to let you know that they loved it!

I’ll be recommending you to friends and family.

Tom, 2018

Hi Rebecca – love the pots and can’t believe they came out so well given our low level of skill!

Many thanks again for a great experience!

Good Morning Rebecca.

Just want to send you a quick note to say how much I loved your class late night. Felt I learned so much and found it so relaxing.

See you next Tuesday.

Karen, 2018

Absolutely loved it!

Was a lot of fun!! Once we stopped questioning ourselves we did quite well! (Though it did look very sorry for itself at the end!)

PollyPollyStudio, 2018

Playing with clay for the sake of playing. Always a pleasure to work with Sunken Studio.

Joanne, 2018

Both Richard and I really enjoyed ourselves yesterday.

Charlotte & Richard, 2018

Thank you so much for the lesson, I thoroughly enjoyed it and am very tempted to get a wheel so I can play some more.

Just sending you a quick email to thank you for my time spent on your beginners course.

I love your passion for what you do and the way you taught us.  I will miss my Tuesday evenings with you and Sue and of course Martha!!

You have planted a seed in me which has ignited my curiosity for ceramics to go on!!

Karen, 2018

I really enjoyed the plate making session you ran at Tall Boys Beer Market a few months back and me and my friend are really enjoying our handmade dishes.

Romeena, 2018

I want to say a massive thank you for the course, I thoroughly enjoyed everything we did. I’m keen to keep on developing my “skills” (such as they are!) so if I can sign up for anything please let me know.

Sue, 2018

Thanks for yesterday’s session too – I really enjoyed it. It‘s great working with clay again, even though I feel quite rusty!

Clare, 2018

Pots unwrapped…. it’s like Christmas!! I’ve really enjoyed both courses. Thank you and ready and excited to develop techniques I’ve learnt on your courses! Sue x

Yesterday we were treated to a day working with the very talented Rebecca from the @sunkenstudioleeds in Leeds. A day just to get the creative juices flowing and enjoying learning something new. Thank you Rebecca for the most fabulous day. Our designers and illustrators loved working with you.

Really good workshop, I recommend it!

5 out of 5 stars    “Brilliant experience making a pot!”

I bought my sister this experience for her 50th birthday, she is very arty, I am not, so I wasn’t expecting to enjoy the day as much as I did!

Rebecca who ran the event was really lovely, patient and very friendly. The studio is in her house basement, its amazing! She went through everything step by step and we made 2 press pots. They will now be glazed and fired and we can collect them in a few weeks. Great experience for anyone into arty things or not. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

5 out of 5 stars    “relaxing experience.”

This was given to me as a Christmas present, really enjoyed it and I am looking forward to collecting my pots from the studio.

Rebecca was really helpful, friendly and informative when doing the experience.

Jessica, 04 February 2018 (Virgin Experiences)

My first foray into ceramics as a grown-up, aided by the wonderful @sunkenstudioleeds. This was so fun.

Kelly, 2017

Received the gift package this morning. Love it! Thank you!

Tom, 2017

Thank you for the ceramic evening at Chirpy and for firing my stars and baubles. I was really pleased with them.  We have just put up our Christmas tree and they look lovely hanging on it.

I hope you enjoy your Christmas and I’ll keep my eye on the website for further courses in 2018.

REBECCA!

My stars are the prettiest things that I have ever seen ! Thank you. I am sooo happy.  I opened them in the Victoria (pub)on my way to the Lord Mayors carol concert.

Oh. I have threaded the tiny stars on fine wiggly silver bullion wire. Pretty. X

Dale, 2017

I have received the voucher. Really happy with it and thanks for the little thank you card too.

Jessica, 2017

I picked up the decorations I made at your Chirpy workshop and they’ve come out so well, thanks so much.

Charlotte, 2017

It was such a lovely time (again). Thank you Rebecca @sunkenstudioleeds for your enduring patience!

Alison, 2017

Great workshop today with @sunkenstudioleeds I can’t wait to see how these broaches turn out once they’ve been in the kiln. I love Rebecca’s approach to give direction but still leave space for creative freedom. She really helps you to make things you’re happy with and that you want to take home. I’ll treasure these. Thank you x

Absolutely love my ceramic brooches that I made at a workshop with @sunkenstudioleeds I’d highly recommend – would make a good Christmas present – give the gift of time and experience.

Amy, 2017

More cozy tea-related fun today at my collaborative BREW workshop with @sunkenstudioleeds at @carouselheadingley

We’ve been doing some tea mixology and hands-on ceramics carving. I really wouldn’t mind if more Fridays were like this… 🍵

Loving this BREW tea and ceramics workshop with @sunkenstudioleeds at @carouselheadingley – so far this has been a mega chill afternoon…🌶🌿🍵

Melanie, 2017

Had the best time at a ceramics workshop today making jewellery, can’t wait to see how they look once they’ve been glazed and fired! 😍

Got the pieces I made at the ceramics class I was at a few weeks ago back and I’m so pleased with how they turned out ❤️

Holly, 2017

Happy business birthday Rebecca! 🎈 Earlier this year I spent a really lovely day in the studio playing with surface decoration techniques to make some tiles & these badger plates. It was fun/challenging to draw with the slip – I might have gone a bit bobbly in places -BUT I love them and had fun!

@sunkenstudioleeds do a variety of workshops at various places in and around Leeds & Yorkshire – I couldn’t think of a more enjoyable day, playing with designs and creating something to keep and use for always.

It was so lovely today to head back to @sunkenstudioleeds to collect my tiles & plates which I made there a few weeks ago. I love how my cat tiles came out after being fired

I couldn’t recommended them more, such a lovely way to spend a day and make something to keep forever. I’ll write a blog post about the space and what else I made this week!

Jenna, 2017

The majestic white horse! @sunkenstudioleeds kindly invited me to visit and learn more about decorative ceramic techniques – specifically slip trailing – at one of her wonderful studio workshops. If you want to explore ceramic process and techniques, I’d really recommend you have a look at her workshops ~ sunkenstudio.co.uk

Started the weekend off right, with a #heyclay taster session at #sunkenstudioleeds

Becky, 2017

This morning Mike and I took a rare morning off to do something a bit different and attend an amazing clay workshop with @sunkenstudioleeds. We’ve been looking forward to it for weeks and although I love teaching workshops it was was such a lovely experience to be on the other side taking some time out to learn a completely new craft. I’ve not worked with clay since school and I think Mike has found his calling! We made a selection of pinch pots and learnt about different techniques and tools in Rebecca’s beautiful home studio and it was a great experience all round. I’d recommend it to anyone and I can’t wait to see our finished pots in a couple of weeks!

We got our pinch pots back today that we made with Rebecca at @sunkenstudioleeds the other week and I absolutely adore them. Can’t wait to make some hangers and get some mini plants in there. Rebecca runs lots of different ceramics workshops and tasters from her gorgeous studio in Roundhay so make sure you check out @sunkenstudioleeds
