We host ceramics tasters and short courses for adults in the privacy of a professional studio and samplers at partner venues regionally. Hands-on sessions provide insight into a selection of techniques and processes and are designed to introduce beginners and enhancers to advanced working methods and practices. The studio, based in Roundhay, can accommodate groups of 3-4 people – perfect for anyone wanting an attentive experience in an informal environment.

We take group and individual bookings: both are a great way to celebrate a special event or reward great work. Our packages are social, experiential and material – we work hard to ensure you have an enjoyable day whilst learning new skills and making beautiful things to keep or share.

All current listings are published on our Tasters, Courses and Events pages. Our full Menu: Ceramics Tasters 2017 is also available to download.

All packages include access to a wide range of custom-made tools and resources that have been designed, and made, by Sunken Studio. We love making tools and when we say range, you can expect range. We specialise in hand-building.
